I mean why would they do such a thing. A lot of the dont care and is like if I get pregnant then I could get an abortion or put it up for adoption. But what about all the diseases out there like AIDS and Herpes and so on...?

Some teenage girls like to live dangerously. Having sex with a guy who is not using a condom is like jumping from an aeroplane without a parachute. Most know of the possible negative consequences but don't really care. It takes pregnancy and/or AIDS to get them to wake up from their sleep of indifference.

Some girls just dont care for their rep. They dont care if they get pregnnat. 96% of girls who do this want to be that way anyways. I highly do not believe in abortion. I say, "if you didnt want that baby...you should be trying to make one!" Girls are just crazy these days. Another thing, those kind of girls makes the girls we are look bad to guys. Because most guys think all girls are the same.

Honey it is because they are stupid or missinformed about thier body functions.
I don;t know how many times I have read on this area. "I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, can I get pregnant." or the "You can't get pregnant when you have your period can you?
What young women, and men to, don't know is pregnancy is not the only illness you can contract. As you correctly pointed our there is Aides, and herpes, not to mention cervial cancer and penile cancer and and and and.
It boils down to this. Girls and boys only think of the fun sex is, not the conseqences.

because teens this century are stupid. and dont know what they are getting themselves into. i have learned my lessons plenty of time by getting lectured and my stuff that happens to my friends, i havent had sex but i know whats out there, and my parents dont think that im smart enough to realize but im 15 and i do. im smarter then they think. i hate that they think JUST CAUSE i am a teen girl that im gonna get my self raped or get pregnant. but im not. i know better then that.

guys at a young age dont think they will catch something but most of the people i know always wear condoms

Cause their parents didn't do their job and talk to their daughters and tell them the consequences of these actions. They are also pressured by the boy not to wear one.

As a teenager you they don't think about safety.....Most of them have an attitude like "that won't happen to me" and then it is to late......
