I don't think they sound strictly boy. I think its kind of fun to give your kids unique names, and those aren't such bad or odd names that people are going to go nutty making fun of them unless they are total jerks, and close-minded. I think its boring to go with the typical main stream names that everyone else already has. Good for you!

I'm not sure if it is wrong but I wouldn't do it! I've seen Avery used as a girl's name so that's not so bad. But Keaton and Ryan? Were you expecting or wanting boys? Why would you do that to your little girls? Why didn't you name them Michelle Keaton and Joann Ryan? That would have been much more acceptable. Oh well, I'm just happy no one in my family has used boy names for their girls!

The names are lovely--if someone is trying to make you feel bad they are probably jealous of your creativity. I've heard other girls being named Avery and Ryan, and while never Keaton, it sounds fine for a girl. They are nice names, not weird, and your girls will probably be glad to have not-to-weird-but-still-unique names.

Avery is fine, and kind of cute, but um...Keaton? Ryan? WTF!

Prepare yourself for alot of trouble in their teen years.

I think it was wrong! There are so many beautiful names for little girls out there! What are you going to do when you have a boy?

If YOU thought it was wrong, you wouldn't have done it in the first place. And if you cared if anyone ELSE thought it was wrong, you wouldn't have done it in the first place.

So what is the purpose of this question?

P.S. My cousin used Ryan for the middle name of her last baby girl...
