I personally am not and would be hurt and angry if my husband went to one. I am just curious to see if other wives out there would be ok with that, would go WITH thier hubbys ... or if they think it's unacceptable and maybe even disrespectful to them and their marriage?
My hubby says "I have my wife at home, why do I need strip clubs?"
Insight, anyone? ;)

I'm so against husbands going to strip clubs. To me, it's as disrespectful as if he were cheating on me. What your husband says is very reliefing. I really can't see the point of a man enjoying himself that way when he's chosen a certain woman to marry and spend with HER his private moments. And no, I wouldn't go either.

My fiance has gone to strip clubs without me and I am secure and confident that he want do anything to be disprespectful towards me. Now, it would be different if he went all alone. That would be perverted and awkward; however he usually goes with a bunch of buddies for like 20 minutes or so and then laugh about it later...he tells me everything that happened because he knows I'll get a kick out of it...my man knows not to let a trashy girl get near him cuz he might catch the HIV or herpelitus (haha). It is improtant to feel confident in your relationship and I feel that completely with my fiance. As long as I am keeping him satisfied at home he has no reason to find another girl to be with...and I know I am doing a damn good job! :0) So, loosen up the ropes a little on your hubby cuz the more restrictions you put on him the more likely he is to cheat on you...men don't like women telling them what to do...and, if you want to test the theory tell your man you want him to go to a strip club, I be he won't be saying "I have you, why do I need to go?"....seriously, it would be a good way to find out. But you have to sell it, really make him believe that it is okay for him to go...if you do this I would really like to know what he says to you about! Good luck!

I think that most wives would feel the way you do.
But others feel more secure in their marriages, and more open. This is not to say open and secure is better, just different. They trust that their husband will behave himself and come home, maybe even charged up and more frisky than usual when he gets there.
Still other wives, very few, but they are out there, go to strip clubs WITH their husbands. What about that?

My husband would not be mad if I went to a male strip club.. me personally I would rather sit a the female strip club with him.. Sorry guys you got the short end of the stick so to speak when it comes to having beautiful bodies. I think those men are just narrow minded and insecure and know that their wife's can do better so they want to keep them sheltered.

I could handle him going to a strip club, but not touching, or lap dances or anything of that nature. And since there is no way for me to know what is really going on there, I would have to say I am against having him go at all.

Wives are the main purpose of strip clubs, I honestly believe if there were no wives there would be hardly any strip clubs.
I think strip clubs are fun to go to, i am not married, but i go with my married guy freinds.

Men that go to strip clubs need to be single.
It's just not worth the hassle from the wives and girlfriends.

Men are very visually oriented. Although the venue and the concept are trashy, men (even if they love and are faithful to their wives) love to see pretty girls with pretty bodies dancing in provocative ways. They love the female body and some of them love to see it in this context. Sleazy as it is, I don't think it's fair to deprive men of this pleasure, as long as they don't get involved past the watching stage.
My husband doesn't go, but I wouldn't worry if he did. Maybe that's because he doesn't. ;-)

You have a saint for a husband--I agree with him. Strip clubs feed fantasies and a husband who is happy at home doesn't need them.
