(submitted by visitor) I get rid of a pimple completely overnight, or about 1 to 2 days, (depending on how severe the blemish). Pop your pimple. by sliding the edge of something, across it, and poping it. Then 1/4 fill your sink with warm water, and pour about a half cup of salt to the water. Take a cotton ball or cotton square or round, and soak it in the salty water for about 30 seconds, moving it around in the water getting it good and salty. Take it out and squeeze out the water. Apply the cotton ball to pimple, and push down. if it doesn't tingle, put more salt on the cotton ball. When it does tingle, push down for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, DO NOT WASH OFF THE SALT THAT STAYS ON YOUR FACE!!! Take Some honey and drop it on a Q-tip. Apply honey to pimple and leave on for 15 mintes. After 15 min is up, rinse off with water. Then apply a dab of toothpaste and leave overnight... That's it!!! Odd i know, but i works!!

Trust me, PROACTIV did not work for me. A good cleanser is Clean & Clear, Daily Pore Cleaner. You can find it cheap at any Dollar General, or Family Dollar. Also St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub, for when your face feels oily. Second, I had pimples even on my back, what i did was started washing my hair with Selsun Blue shampoo in the blue bottle. Then i would get a facial scrubber and scrubb my face, back, and neck. These look like the green scrubbing pads, but they are white. It tingled some but not more than alcohol. And for scarring i found this stuff called AcneFree, its in a blue and orange box. it was 15 dollars, but worth it. another good cleaner is Phisoderm.

The problem is that usually the ingredients of the acne control usually are formulatted with benzoyl peroxide(this ingredient is very strong and it overdries your skin) and other ingredients and chemicals that are too strong for your skin. Allergic reactions are very common, and skin can react often to fragrance or coloring that is added to products When using acne products look for salycilic acid instead, this is powerful and will not overdry your skin but will control the acne. also bathing daily cleanses the skin, but it also can dry it out, causing it to look dull, but most importantly, it may cause irritation and remove the natural emolients your body produces to keep it healthy. When you bathe, always use a moisture-rich cleanser, and always pamper your skin with a daily moisturizer.I had been struglling with acne for about 9 years so i can tell you a thing or 2 about acne, Remember that everybody has different reactions to treatments and i have tried everything (even proactive) , the one i tried and thank God i found it because it is the only thing that has worked for me and it has cleared my face and that is amazing. The important thing is to use botanically based products and i found them in Arbonne. I use them because they are formulatted without mineral oil and without animal products. Mineral oil is the 2nd worse thing for the health of your skin the 1st thing would be the sun. Animal products come from Rendering Plants and they pick dead animals and they put it in a huge pot and smash everything down and boil it and the oil that comes up is what other companies use to formulate their makeup (eww the lipsticks), gross i know) and skin care products. I found this site and it has helped my family and my friends. They have a variety of products for everybody..... try it, you have nothing to loose, only acne;) they are calle Clear Advantage and they are not pricey also they have a 45 day money back guarantee....even if the product is finished so there you go,!!! http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com ... and go under shop online, they are not sold in stores but they are just amazing.... also remember these facts...
• Peak acne years are 14–17 in females and 16–19 in males. As many as 40% of females and 35% of males are affected during these years.
• Keep your hands to yourself … touching skin encourages the spread of bacteria and excess oils, leading to breakouts.
• Excessive cleansing and scrubbing can make acne worse.

first thing is first. to keep from getting them should be your question. drink lots of water. it helps cleanse your skin and keeps your pores from clogging preventing pimples from even forming. i would try getting a scrub 1 with the microbeads in it. like the loreal step 1 version, or swiss apricot scrub. they have the beads that peel away the dead skin cells so it will keep your pores open. if you dont want to buy any face products then try using toothpaste, the white 1 not gel, or vinegar on them and it will dry them out. just on the pimple itself. dont put lotion on your face because it will clog them.

Make sure you are washing your face with a salycyclic acid treatment every morning and night. To tell if it has salycyclic acid in it, read the label. Also, add oil-free lotion to your skin at night - believe it or not, it works! Try spot treatments, like Oxy Acne Treatment (it comes in a little bottle). If your face doesn't clear up soon, talk to a derm[atoligist] about prescription acne treatments like differin. Good luck!

i had adult acne a month ago....I went to my dermatologist and she gave me a 2.5% of benzoyl peroxide. It really helped clear out my face altho i jst have those red marks that im dealing with right now. those are what you call post-pigmentation...But what i really did was, i used a mild soap (cetaphil) to cleanse my face (dont rub it, jst wash it gently)...then after 10 mins of letting it dry, i apply benzoyl peroxide...U can use a q-tip to put jst a small amt on each pimple...Then after 10 mins, put a mild moisturizer so ur face wont get dry....It worked for me, and i only have 1 or 2 flare ups right when about to have my monthly friend....
