To remove the list of searches disable AutoComplete if you are using Internet explorer . You can do this by following the procedure below:
The method below implies for both yahoo and google
1. From Internet Explorer, choose "Tools" then "Internet Options".
2. From the "Internet Options" multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, select the "Content" tab.
3. Click the "AutoComplete" button.
4. Uncheck everything.
5. Click the "Clear Forms" button.
6. Click the "Clear Passwords" button.
7. Press "OK" to close the dialog boxes.
OR
If you want to delte a specific entry of search then bring the mouse over the search in the drop down list which u want to delete and press the delete key ! As simple as that.
You can delete the search history in your yahoo toolbar by clicking the arrow in the search box then Select OPTIONS and click on CLEAR HISTORY.
Another method - Click on the Pencil, then on toolbar options and uncheck the boxes of 'enable auto complete' and 'enable history'. Then click OK .
To delete address bar history of your browser, you can go to Tools> internet Options > General > clear history > set the number of days to zero and then click OK.

1) Open your "Internet Explorer" Click>"Tools">"Internet Option"
2) On the Internet Option, you will see a dialog box, on the Dialog box you will see "General" tab.

right click on the taskbar, go to properties, click on customize, than click on the "clear" button. that'll clear websites in the url address field, recent documents, etc.

You have an option checked that says "Auto Complete".
