Just curious. I feel ugly sometimes but he tells me I'm beautiful, is he just saying that or what? Especially when I take my makeup off, I feel ugly and he still tells me I am beautiful.

We're in the same spot girl, I love the way I look when I have my makeup on and my hairs perfect....But when I take it off...oi. But he still says I look beautiful, and you know, he still kiss's me the same, just as much passion, and he loves to simply stare into my eyes, it's quite sweet. So, if he really cares for you, he'll truly belive your beautiful ALL the time, and he'll see you through different eyes b/c he cares for you, that's the way it is w/me and my guy (it goes both ways, we both see eachother in a differnt light then everone else sees us, silmpy b/c we care for eachother so much) so don't sweat it anymore, accept his praise and enjoy it. (PS- no, my b/f isn't ugly, some girls don't think he's attractive but I think he's cute [and yes, somtimes HOT!])

It sounds like you have a man who loves YOU not just how you look. My boyfriend isnt' what most people consider the model of beauty....but to me he's the most handsome man on the planet....Attraction and beauty are far beyond the physical. It makes me sad that you ever feel anything but beautiful. Try to understand that your true value should never reside in your looks. One more thing to consider, if your boyfriend is an honest and good person....than he must be telling you the truth...you need to see yourself as beautiful too!! best wishes to you!

Well a long time ago i dated this guy who everyone else didn't think he was very attractive...the thing was he had such a zest for life..he was extremely fun,great sense of humor,he just had a fire about him that was so attractive to me.The longer i knew him the better looking he became.Beauty is different for everybody....Oh and trust me i don't thimk any woman feels pretty without makeup!!! I know i don't...sounds like you have a sweet boyfriend who really does think your beautiful.......you need to start believing that yourself!!

I would date someone who I loved there personality but wasn't super attractive. Sometimes someones personality makes someone attractive. I think he thinks you are beautiful and your probably are so stop worrying

You are beautiful to him. My husband is just average to most people (he thinks he is ugly) but I think he is the most gorgeous man alive. He has a wonderful personality and I wouldn't want it any other way!

If you're in love with someone then they are the most beautiful person including their imperfections. Listen to your boyfriend and accept his compliments.

You have to be attracted to them -- but sometimes the not as attractive ones have a great personality so they grow on you.
I know what you mean - I hate when my husband compliments me when I know I look bad.....
