Neither my husband or I have asthma, but my brother and sister both have it really bad. Is it possible that this could skip a generation?

Neither my ex-husband or I have asthma, but my youngest son has it. Please make sure to follow everything the doctors tell you to do, give meds properly and do not allow anyone to smoke around your child. Like the commercials I have been hearing lately say having an asthma attack makes you feel "like a fish with no water". Take care and good luck.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

If your baby was breast-fed, this is a serious issue. Find a competent pediatric nutritionist and follow their advice carefully. They will probably suggest some sort of detoxification process using pesticide- and chemical fertilizer-free foods. Check this resource for more info:

If your baby was bottle-fed, this is a result of missing out on the immune-boosters that are natural in breast-milk. You should quickly check the above resource, in any case.

asthma is not an inherited disease. Asthma can be triggered by the environment, pollutants in the air especially in high traffic areas, second-hand smoke, roaches, rodent droppings, etc.

These things do run in families and it can scip generations. I had asthma, my mum never had it but her brother and sister both suffered.
If she has it this young, she may 'grow out of it' though, I did.

asthma isn't necessarily an inherited disease
it's an autoimmune disease which can be triggered by a wide range of things, including allergies--just do proper care and follow-up, and it's usually very manageable
