Of course you're INSIDE.
You are OUT when you are not at home, but you can still be INSIDE, whether its a car, a bus, an office, a shop or a cinema.
You are INSIDE SOMETHING. IN or OUT has a different meaning, as in a doctor is IN or OUT. You still don't know if he is inside or outside.
