okay, yes the movie is popular because of Zac Efron, but that's not the reason I like it. I like it because it has a great story and really good songs in it.

nah. highschool musical's a combination of teen love problems, plus "hot" teen actors/actresses [including zac efron i guess], and it's a Disney original.
