What have conservatives done in the past five years to benefit the USA?

This isn't a trick question. Just tell me what they have done. Enlighten me.

Conservatives: I dare you to answer this question without mentioning "Bill Clinton" or blaming the Liberals for all of your mistakes.

The conservative government of Mr. Bush withdrew the US from the Kyoto protocol allowing industry in the US to add millions of tons of Carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This act alone has contributed to many cases of emphysema reducing the population by several thousands. While providing good jobs for hard working United Statesian doctors and nurses. To say nothing of all those greenhouse gases warming up our planet providing savings during the winter by reducing our heating bills.

At the same time culled the military by 2,700 soldiers that were killed in Iraq. Since they allowed themselves to be killed no doubt they were no good as soldiers, now that they are gone we don't have to pay salaries for dead weight soldiers. Ditto for all those maimed.

All of That didn't get in the way of the 'no child left behind' act. Passing it was a landmark, but due to a stroke of incredible genius the administration did not fund it. So they've created a lot of jobs for government employees to oversee a program that doesn't exist, in this manner increasing the United Statesian standard of living.

Let's not forget the unfunded pledge to put a man on the moon... the administration has taken all of the funds from all of the scientific programs NASA had and funneled them into the 'man on the moon' project. So NASA does not devote any more funds to programs in existence for decades in some cases and now will be able to repeat a feat that they had accomplished almost 40 years ago. In this manner we all feel like we did in the 60's like children with no control or say on what is going on in this country, making people feel young is a great accomplishment.

You ask an impossible question. Don't get me wrong I think in general a reduction in Taxes is always good (in moderation and balanced and fair) the Tax given here are neither in moderation or balanced and fair.

Understand, the Christian Conservatives will blame the liberal media, the liberals in office in the 70's or 80's or 90's (even the conservatives have had the House and the Senate for most of 90's and the Executive branch for the past 6 years). Lack of ownership and to much truthiness has been the major obstacle to the conservatives implementing an agenda that is good for this country (and not just there special interest buddies)

Passed many tax cuts to help the average American and stimulated the economy. Put two clear thinking justices on the Supreme Court. Created the Department of Homeland Security. Re-elected George W Bush. I think I have enough to get you fired up so I'll stop there.

A few thoughts:
We put qualified legal judges on the Supreme Court. That will prevent Liberals from destorying our culture.
We cut taxes on all (taxpaying) Americans and our economy rebounded with more tax revenue that ever. Our economy rebounded with more jobs than ever. Our economy has provided more opportunity for small businesses than ever. (High tax rates are oppresive, like Liberals.)
We crushed a terrorist regime in Afghanistan.
We crushed a terrorist regime in Iraq.
Both nations are striving for independent self reliance because of us.
We support Israel against terrorists. Liberals talk a lot but don't act. Actions mean lives saved and the survival of the Israeli nation.
We keep socialists communists Liberals out of power helping to
prevent the destruction of the USA.
We expose the Socialists in media, in our schools and in positions of power. Shine the light on a Liberal and suddenly he is a 'Progressive'. We don't need Liberals, Socialists or Progressives. We need freedom and liberty to live our lives without the Nanny State.

What have liberals done in the last 5 years to benefit the USA? I don't care to hear answers about how Republicans own congress. Good ideas attract support. Lib's haven't had a good idea in many, many years. That's why the Republicans still have control.

They were able to convert the US treasury from having a large surplus to trillions in debt in less than 3 years. They have been able to devalue the middle class by eliminating all aspects of secure employment and sending millions of good jobs abroad. They have turned their backs on controlling immigrant labor because cheap labor benefits business, and is justified because "immigrant labor does the jobs that Americans won't do." Is there no one out there who cleans, cares for children, does construction work, drives a taxi, etc?

We're also safer from terrorist attacks. We have things like the Department of Homeland Security that increase our defense in that aspect. We've destabilized terrorist networks by taking out the corrupt Iraqi and Afghani governments.
