I am not middle aged but I know someday I probably will be.But I am 22 and already when I go rake my yard I wake up sore the next day. By the time I am 42 my son will be my age. Hopefully by then I will have learned a lot and stopped making stupid mistakes and be a lot less broke.

Middle age is just that, middle age. Usually it is around 40-45, depending if you plan on living to 80-90.

Middle age to me is someone who is coming into their own. No more cares of what other people think, seasoned, perfectly aged like a fine wine.

Well, actually, the term usually refers to men and women in their 50's, which really is probably more like "two-thirds" age than "middle."

Anyone older than me.
Or, as Burt Reynolds once said, "I'm going to live to be 120, so at 60 I'm still middle-aged."

as our life expectancy increases my idea of middle age does too.
I am just putting it off!
I'm 33 and once pon time that would have been old, if we live to 70 that means I'm nearly there - scary!!!!!
Nowadays I'd say in our 50's.
