I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. I am wondering if I should give up the idea that I may be pregnant this month. I was suppose to start my period today and I have not as of yet. My Basal body temps are staying high so far. What do u think?

Did you have unprotected sex. Then the answer to your question is YES I DO THINK YOU MIGHT BE PREGNANT.
However you won't be able to really tell for at least 2 weeks yet. After that time you can have the blood test at the doctor which is accurate to after 11 days from conception.

I would say to wait for 2 days and if no period yet then retest with morning urine again. No period with elivated temps are a sign of pregnancy. Sometimes the HCG hormone takes longer to register then other people and if you really want to know now then go to the doctor and ask for a blood test and that will tell you for sure. GOODLUCK

Most home pregnancy tests do not detect the pregnancy hormone until about 10 days after your missed period. I would try again if you dont get your period within a week.

i would wait 4 more days and if u still dont get it then test again

See a doctor and have bloodwork done
