My nipples and areolas are the same pale fleshy color. He says he likes dark ones. When I look in the mirror, I do see that my nipples are barley visable. Am I a freak?? I am a 36 DD

If he has such a strong opinion about your breasts ... what does he propose you do about it!? You can't criticize someone unduly if you're not prepared to make a feasible solution to 'the problem.' You're his wife. Tell him to get over it and deal. Sheesh. Surely he didn't just marry you for your breasts and only NOW realized that they displease him. Find something on him that you don't like and tell him. See what he does. Criticizing your spouse for something they have no control over is rude and insensitive. He should respect your feelings more. You are not a freak. I just found out last month that my true bra size is 32DD. Lets talk about freakish ... the sales lady looked at me like it was my fault. They don't even make that size (and yes, they're real). Be happy with the skin you're in. I know its easier said then done, but its possible.

I seriously doubt he used the word 'ugly'. It isnt ofter a man will use that word to describe anyones boobs (anyone under 40). Is it possible that he mentioned he preferred dark nipples to light ones? Or was it said in an off hand way and he has no idea you took it to heart. No you arent a freak, 36DD is the bomb, I'm sure they look fine ( although you might want to post pictures to confirm my theory).
Dont let this detail get you down, he loves you enough to marry you, even if he is dumb enough to say something like that.

You are not a freak! He is for even saying something so hurtful. Don't ever let any man make you feel bad about yourself, their balls are what? Attractive? I think not. And I bet you enjoy him and never say crap like that to him. He's an insensative idiot and you really should tell him that. I'm sure your chest is just fine, besides when you really stop and look at them whats pretty about them anyway? Don't get why such a big deal.

I'm assuming your breasts have always been this colour, so I would actually be questioning why you're husband now is saying he finds them ugly. Did he not find them attractive before you married?
Don't let your husband get you down and make you question yourself or how you look.

It is one thing that he should say it (honest), and another thing that he should make you feel bad about it (selfish jerk).
But whichever of both, it is your body and no one will ever love it more than you. There is no perfection, nor imperfection. There is only you, and that is your body just like your moods are yours, your likes and your dislikes, your fears and your hopes. It's all one package and it's take it or leave it.

You didn't say if you have children or not. If not - they will darken during pregnancy and will remain dark afterwards. Speaking for all my friends who have had breast cancer - he should be eternally grateful for what he has! If he is this shallow - how would he deal with a real physical problem?

there is nothing wrong with you. you are not a freak. tell your husband that what he says about you hurts your feelings and that you don't appreciate it. what he is telling you is wrong. if he says something about it again after you tell him that you don't appreciate it, say that something about him is ugly and see how he likes it! if he loves you he will stop once you let him know how it makes you feel.

It sounds like he is being an a$$. If he was this bothered by it, why did he marry you? I am sure all of him isn't as perfect as you would like it. Maybe you should give him a dose of his own medicine!
