i have been trying to conceive for almost 6 yrs. i have had preg test after preg test. it takes a few weeks for a urine test to be accurate. my dr has told me time and time again that the test was negative. i ask her over and over again is she sure. she says that the test is accurate unless i have gooten preg within the last 8 days. so to answer your question, it takes 8 days after conception for it to show up in the blood!!

With our 3rd my wife got the blood test 11 days after conception. We were told it was accurate to that time.

Trouble is it makes the pregnancy feel REALLLLLYYYY long when you find out that early.

it depends on how high a certain hormone(i cant remember which one)is in your body, blood tests can detect it sooner than home pregnancy tests can-----normally 6 to 8 weeks after conception sometimes sooner or later

Once the embryo is implanted in the uterus the blood test will show. I don't know how long that takes though.
