We have a sunset sail scheduled while we are there. I thought of maybe giving it to him then, but I want to really blow his mind when I give it to him. Does anyone have any suggestions? P.S. I am not asking him to marry me, it's just a "friendship ring" of sorts. We are very committed and plan to be together forever. He has no idea it's coming! THANKS!!!

the sailing trip sounds good, but it might be hard to hear eachother while sailing....and God forbid you loose the ring on-board! That would be horible!!!! (happened to a friend of mine) Maybe on a nice walk in the woods (if there are any) or after a romantic dinner....I know you said it's more of a "friendship ring of sorts", but you also said "We are very committed and plan to be together forever", so yeah.... in the end it is your pick, so have fun w/it! I hope everthing is perfect!!! HaVe FuN !!!!!

WOW!! your are so sweet and thoughtful, he's very lucky to have you hon! One time I bought my boyfriend a really nice watch that he had wanted from a jewelry store. I wanted the presentation to be really nice. So I bought a nice mans jewelry box (masculine looking) He thought THAT was the present.....then when he opened it the watch was inside....he was totally floored. my best wishes to you!!
