i can't pick up any signal from anyone else where I live, who do I call to get service and equipment do I need? In north east Indiana...

You need to called to ISP provider to open an account for internet. You can't get connection from somebody, who lives there. Because these people use password protection. You could try get Verizon DSL. They do have wireless internet. Here is the phone number: (877) 483-5898

open your phone book! and turn the yellow pages, yes the yellow 1s to internet and they will have a list of the providers. like comcast, time warner, sbc yahoo, or something. those r dsl or cable. which u have to have. then u need a wireless router and its simple to set up. they give u directions.

You need to purchase internet, either DSL internet through your phone company or Broadband through your cable internet, then you would have a wireless modem which would "broadcast" your internet and your computer would then pick it up.

You can't pick up other people's wireless signal? I hope not. That is illegal.
