True liberals believe in freedom (it was the conservatives supported the slave trade). Liberals believe in democracy (it was the conservatives who wouldn't allow women and black people to vote).
Hitler may have been called a "liberal socialist" (and I'm not sure that was the name of his party but I'm too lazy to check it right now) but words can get twisted to mean whatever people want. Did you ever read "1984" by George Orwell? There's a quote in the book: War is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength. If you tell a lie often enough, people will start to believe it.

Really really really stupid statement. Hitler had nothing to do with the American Democratic party. Wait a minute...wasn't there a Democratic president in office when we were fighting Hitler? If you want a culture of death (which I don't think there is one in America right now) the closest would be the folks in office who wanted to send our military to war. If you would pay attention, the Liberals want the war to end while the Conservatives want to "stay the course." Now which one sounds more like a culture of death?

Nope. Liberal and Democrat are not interchangeable terms. Not all liberals are Democrats and not all Democrats are liberals. I happen to be both a liberal and a Democrat -- I don't burn Bibles or exterminate Jews, I don't support government control over private lives, rather I support rights and freedoms and, as is the case with the overwhelming majority of Democrats, I'm neither a socialist nor a communist.

Actually, it was national socialist...
Communism wasn't liberal, it was an economic system run under an undemocratic dictator which has always been suppressed in supposed democracies by military action from the U.S., like in Vietnam. So we'll never know if it would work in a free society.
Most self-labeled liberals I know are against war, and none has ever burned a bible, and none I know have a problem with christians who don't attempt to oppose their lifestyle on others... conservative christians often want to exercise their "rights" by imposing their lifestyle on others, who only want to exercise their right to live their own lifestyle. but conservative christians believe that because they are in a majority (which is not necessarily true, while the majority of americans are christians, the majority of americans believe in civil rights) they believe that they should be able to impose new laws, impeding the rights of homosexuals to marry, among others, but what they don't understand is that we live in a constitutional democracy... the purpose of this is to guarantee the rights of a large minority from a small majority. if we fail in this, it leads to massive emigration or civil war.

It's funny that you say that. Hitler was actually closer to an American conservative. Twisting Christian principles to fit political policies, strong enforcement of the death penalty, the spying of it's citizens, and using fear and hate- mongering to to justify the buildup of military power are all hallmarks of the conservative party complex.

Sharaz, I'm tired of seeing your questions.
Why do you hate democrats so much?
Don't answer that.
Offer solutions instead of name calling and stereotyping.
Your full of hate! Must be miserable.
