I have two female cats whom doesn't like taking baths but what I do it shut the bathroom door for one, I usually have one of my sons sitting newrby with a towel. I get in the tub with the cat and shut the glass door, (if you do not have a glass door for your shower, just close the curtain so your cat will think he/she can't get out. with one hand holding the cat, use the other to slowly pour water onto the cat and procede to wash. I usually have a few scratches on my leg, but other than that, the cats get used to it after awhile, they know they can't escape me. Good luck. Oh yeah if you are afraid of getting your feet scartched, may I recommend wearing boots in the bathtub.

There are indeed products that you can use to bathe cats without water.

Buy a cat muzzle. They do make them. The muzzles are more to cover the cat's eyes. What they can't see doesn't scare them, so they tend to be calmer.

If you get a carrier for your cat, you can take it to a groomer. You don't have to spend a lot of money; check out your local humane society. When you adopt a cat, you take them home in special cardboard boxes with a handle.

But why do you need to bathe your cat? Typically they take pretty good care of themselves and bathing isn't necessary.

If you fill one side of the sink with clean water, get help, hold your cat by the scruff of her neck (like a moma cat picks up her young). Use a cup to pour the water on the cat, shampoo, and rinse. My cats do not like the running water, but don't mind the cup. You may have to hold fairly tight, so use some help.

The cat is not trying to kill you, she thinks YOU are trying to kill HER
.
They don't know anything about what we are doing or why
.
Just have the tub full of water before you take her in. Speak gently and kindly to her when you take her in. Keep petting her and speaking gently to her.

Do everything slowly and gently and keep talking to her.
.
Pet her, and keep petting her until she concentrates on the petting and forgets all about the water.

When you add the shampoo do it in a petting manner and use a disposable large plastic cup to rinse her.

No running water. That is a threat to them.

I would say my cat ALMOST enjoys a bath - almost. Good luck to you AND your cat.

Put some soap in the toilet, toss the cat in there, shut the lid and flush once to latter up, and twice to rinse. Open the lid and stand clear kitty will be very pissed off, but you are wound free from the process.

call your local vet/pet shop to see what free advice they can give to prevent your cat from clawing out your eyes.

I have a troublesome dog but i think you can:
get a pair of tough gardening gloves (like the ones that rose thrones can't penerate). lie the cat on its side hold its hind and forelegs then get another person to pour water and scrub it.

I believe there are products that can give, as someone mentioned, a dry foam bath. Ask your nearest pet store.

Cats don't need baths. They clean themselves.
