Adam started recording in what we refer to as the Bible sometime after he was created in the year 4025 BCE and he lived for 930 years.
He started it with Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 5:1, his last recorded words.
Moses compiled all of these ancient writings to creat the Genesis account sometime in 1513 BCE.
So for a Biblical stand point, the Bible, the Hebrew scriptures are older than the book of the dead.
Other Nations of people did not devolved until some time after 2239 BCE. with the confusing of the languages at the tower of Babel.
