I was in the pregnancy column and noticed that I seem to have sex a lot more often than most people. I have sex with my husband everyday (minus period time) unless one of us is sick. And on Sundays when we are both home and the kids go and visit my parents we have sex for like 5 hours straight. Is that strange?

It sounds wonderful. The fact that you get enjoyment with something that's natural, not hurting you or anyone and feels good between you and your husband is nothing short of perfect. As a society, we're WAY TOO hung up about sex. If you and your husband enjoyed 5 hrs of golf every Sunday instead of sex, you would never consider asking if there was something wrong. You're normal and blessed. Keep it up.
My wife and I have sex 2-3 times a week. We have kids and the neighborhood kids are over at our home a lot (sleepovers, etc.) so picking discreet times can be tough. Sometimes we meet up at a hotel, which is fun and hot. However, there are times, when we can go a month without sex, because of schedules, work, you name it.

We have sex probably 4 or 5 times a week. Sometimes it will be oral only but we are both satisfied. I would say nothing is unusual about the number of times. Just keep trying different things and ways so you dont become bored with each other.

I don't think it is strange at your age, but things will slow down. My wife and I are 47 and 46, have been married 22 years and have sex about every 2-3 days when things are going well. (no sickness, periods, etc..) We used to do it a lot more often when we were younger, tho...

good for you.it is good that you two has kept it up.after childbirth a woman and mans sex drive usually lessens.but its really good to know that you two are enjoying each other. but also remember that sex is not everything.there are some things that sex can never replace. try having long talks at night, romantic evenings, fun games together, watching tv. sex is an union of the bodies, while quality time is the union of the souls.

No it isn't strange. I've been married for almost 10 years and I'd like to have it everyday, all day long if I could. Just thank god you have a partner that is in sync with your sex drive.

Ummm. No. I feel like a hoe, because many people I know complain when they "have" to put out once a month. I love being intimate with my husband and we do just about every day. We're very affectionate. If we had a house without kids for a day, I'm sure we'd spend most of that day in bed....hmmmmm......I'm thinking we need to get a room and let the kids stay with Grandma for the night.... :)

Considering your age I don't think it is that unusual. If you were over 40 then I would be impressed. I think the amount of sex your having is just a reflection of your life right now. You and your spouse are probably in a good place in life without a lot of stress. Enjoy it while you can, life has a way of changing things suddenly.

Well, I've only been married for a week, but so far, our sex ''calendar'' isn't any different than before. We have sex daily, unless, like you've mentioned, there is the period time or sickness....or just plain exhaustion.

I'm with you-everyday whenever possible and if we didn't have to work and stuff it would be more. We can't get enough of each other.
