I had a dream last night that I was hit by a car while crossing the street. I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant, and in my dream I was terrified that I was going to lose my baby! I was screaming at the old couple that hit me. What could this dream mean?

It sounds like anxieties related to the safety of your baby. It is interesting that it was an old couple that hit you. I did a presentation on images and attitudes towards older women. One of the common accusations of old hags/witches was that they ate babies. This represented a fear of age and death devouring the young. Perhaps this is why the people who made you fear for the safety of your baby in your dream were older.

It could mean alot of things I suppose but mainly I think it just means you're afraid of losing you baby. You have a fear that some sort of an accident may happen and you will lose your baby. I did that when I was pregnant with my second child b/c I had a high risk pregnancy with her and I was always afraid of losing her. Just some motherly instincts kicking in I suppose lol

It is anxiety that you have. Because you are pregnant, you value your baby than anything else. You are stress have this pre-labor anxiety. It could happend to people who are pregnant.
Do not worry about too much or you may keep having dream like that. Often your subconscious mind is telling you what situation you are in now. Basically, now you are stressed and in anxiety of the safety of the unborn baby.
That's normal..

you may not nessesaryly be hit by a car how ever,shock is what you should be very careful about,who is responsible for the baby?has he claimed responsibility?don't let anything shock you at this stage of the pregnancy.

it doesnt mean so... bad.... may b it means tht ur baby will have a long life... n u will also b with him/her forever......
dreams r just based on thinking.... its wat ur brain thinks in the day n watches some sceans... which r then mixed up n get a new shape... n thn u dream about sumthing unusual... n in pregnancy every mother has a fear to loose her baby... so no need to worry n b happy... take care

as any woman who is pregnant you want to be as protective as possible, this is the worst case scenario testing you, just a normal dream beleive it or not you are always thinking about your baby even when you are asleep
