My first Dead show was in '87 ..Toronto Canada. From there we went to Rochester but our van broke down and we didn't make it to Foxborough. The next year we went to Oxford Maine. That was my favorite because there was a huge sight cleared for campers. There was about 150 thousand of us in a small city with a police force of 6. I always loved the "scene" when camping amongst the heads and vendors. My last shows were actually Jerry Garcia Band in 1991 (Conneticut and ?)

My husband was the avid Deadhead and with over 200 bootleg tapes I could pick one up and start reading the song list and he'd tell me the date and venue. Sadly, we divorced and then he died 7 years ago from a stroke at age 33.

Im not personally a deadhead.
Im only 15.
But my father was a deadhead, up until he died of a stroke at 33.
My middle name is Althea, obviously named after the song.
I have become very proud of it.

my mother is the answerer above me. (dellajoy)
