A couple ideas:

Replace the fuel filter. I've had a couple of carbureted cars that ran terribly and it turned out that the fuel filter was clogged. A filter for this car should cost less than $25.

You might have a vacuum leak. With a vacuum leak, the car will idle very poorly and may stall, but it will run fine at higher speeds. Lift the hood and listen for a hissing or whistling noise. Feel along the vacuum lines to see if there is a leak. Replacing a leaky vacuum hose might be as little as $2.

My 89 Accord have been given castrol gtx for 194,000 miles and on the factor used a quart of oil each and every 4000 mi. Any call form oil of the stated weight and repair score would be effective Honda's run forever in simple terms replace it ever 4 to 5 thousand miles.

The vacumn take off pipe from the manafold to the the power brake booster maybe be leaking due to cracks in the pipe.power brake booster diaphram could also be leaking this will result in rough idle,to check booster start car and press the brake if idle is worse then booster needs to be replaced if not check vacumn pipe properly and replace if need be.Hope you have renewed intake manafold to carb gasket,a leaking gasket will also result in rough idle and poor acceleration.
