No I don't think there's a problem, especially if you are feeling & seeing movement from the baby. Your belly will come soon enough! And from what I've heard (and am now experiencing) it comes alot sooner with the second pregnancy, if that's in your future! I'm only 9 wks and I've got the pooch already whereas with my first I was 5-6 months before I started showing and wearing maternity clothes. Congrats to you and good luck tying your shoes in a couple of months!! :o)

With our second child my wife didn't show till she was 25 weeks along. It was not a problem. It all depends on how in shape you are.
There was an olympic Gymnast who was 6 months pregnant when she was a color analyst for an Olympics 8 years after her fun in the sun. She had no tummy at all and didn't show until she was just over 8 months.
Is it a sign of a problem. According to my wife's doctor, no. It all depends on the women and her conditioning not to mention each pregnancy is different.

You should be seeing your doctor on a monthly basis to rule out any sort of problem. And as for not showing, ever woman's body is different. My sister in law didn't show until after 20 weeks, whereas I am at 20 weeks and am HUGE! As long as you are gaining adequate weight and visiting with your doctor, I don't see why there would be a problem :)

I started to show a little by then however I have a friend how never even got big the whole time you would have never know she was pregnant until you saw the baby she was so skinny it was like she was not even pregnant. Every woman is different some show more then others and some show later then others. Don't worry.

my sisters' first pregnancy:
didn't even know for 6 months.
had a test done to see why she couldn't get pregnant at 4 months.
gained 10 pounds. 120 going into the hospital - had 10 pound baby. she's 5'7".
still wearing 'regular' clothes to hospital to give birth.
3rd pregnancy:
big o' belly at 3 months
gained 40 pounds by the time she was 4 months pregnant. (she threw out her scales that day and refuses to get new ones!)

I didn't show until about 6 months and my daughter was perfectly healthy. She turned 20 years old last month. This is common for a first pregnancy. Just keep eating properly, drink your milk and follow your doctor's orders. Best of luck to you!

My neighbor is 30 weeks w/second child and barely has a pooch at all. It all depends on your size and the size of the baby. As long as your doc says that you and the baby are healthy, do not worry about you not showing yet b/c you will start soon.

If you are recieving regular prenatal care your doctor will alert you to any problems. Each women is different as is each pregnancey. But the doctors keep measurements on the growth of your uterus. If they are not concerned then you shouldn't be either.
