i would go with the volvo wagon. volvo has an excellent record for cars in auto accidents and they are made extremely strong.
in the past few years there has been alot of problems with SUV's.

volvo has some cool new models and doesnt use as much gas as an suv or station wagon

The volvo is easier to drive, just as much cargo space, better gas mileage, and volvo's are famous for their safety and reliability. Definitely the way to go.
