I work two jobs at the moment to help pay off my bills and prepare for the future. She works one job and only four days out of the week. Now when she is at home she does nothing but watch t.v. and sleep. we don't have kids and we only live in a one bedroom apartment. I cook when i can and clean if i have free time. the problem is that when i do get free time she wants me to take her out because she's been cooped up all day in our depressing apartment. So i do...and nothing gets done. I just want to know what should i do...i feel if it doesn't get resolved soon this marriage will never be.

Maybe it's for the best, then. She sounds lazy to me. It's good that you found her out before you did get married.

First, she sounds like a lazy person who doesn't appreciate the fact that she has a hard-working man (extremely hard to find).

Second, If this is now, only imagine how much worse it can get after marriage. Where you make the mistake is taking her out. One day say you don't want to go out 'cause you are tired just to see her reaction.

And Third, sit down, calmly talk to her and tell her how you feel (try not to argue). If she gives you crap then you know she is not the one for you.

At my house, my husband and I both work, when I'm home I do stuff and when he's home he does stuff, we both have a chore list and it is split half way. If she can't be considerate and understand that you have two jobs then you should re-think your relationship.

Listen you've got yourself one lazy woman. Nothing is going to change once you are married. Either put up with it or leave her alone. Some women just don't have what it takes to take care of a household. And if she is like that now it will only get worse if you guys are planning to have kids. What you need to determine is can you tolerate that flaw in her. It's a pretty bad flaw to have if you ask me but not intolerable.

Why can't she go out by herself?? You should try to make your wife understand your situation and remind her that being in a marriage requires teamwork on both sides. And that if you feel that she isn't be a part of that, you may reconsider your proposal. Be stern but not disrespectful or judgemental. Good Luck!!!!

If it's like this now...picture the future.

Then add a couple of kids, daycare expenses, a mortagage, credit cards, and probably 2 car payments, not to mention groceries, utilities, and credit cards. Now, add what is currently going on in your relationship in regards to her not cleaning the house or preparing meals,

NOW.....AFTER CONSIDERING THIS SCENARIO FOR A FEW MINUTES...
DO YOU STILL FEEL LIKE GETTING MARRIED TO HER?

Your fiance is a lazy bum. Tell her she needs to buck up or you will have to leave her because you don't like having a lazy wife and a dirty home.

She is lazy. Put your foot down. Better to find this out now and not after you got married.
