My video that details the process is in storage and I can't seem to find a step-by-step explanation anywhere on the Internet! I know I need a Torx T-40 for the six bolts and that I'll have to disconnect the wiring for the wiper, but beyond that I'm not sure what to do, what to expect or the proper way to store the top without a rack or hoist. Any tips? Details, please! Thanks!

all you need to do is unbolt just like you said and un hook the wireing harness then pull the top off by lifting strait up and then off the back of the jeep. it is heavy so get some help the more hands the better and then just place in a spot your not going to have to move out of the way until your ready to put back on have fun topless

IF YOU DONT USE INTERNET INFO AND DONT HAVE THE MANUAL.... (THE MANUAL IS VERY DETAILED) THEN GO TO A JEEP DEALER AND ASK THEM TO MAKE A COPY OF THE PAGES REALTED TO REMOVING THE TOP....I REMOVED MINE AND JUST STORED IT ON THE GRASS ONE YEAR.....YOU FIRST HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE FUSE UNDER THE DASH SO YOU DONT KILL YOUR BATTERY WHILE DISCONNECTING THE REST...PROBLEM IS....BEES LIKE THE TOP AND BUILD NESTS IN THERE....BEST TO EITHER BUILD A HOIST INTO YOUR GARAGE CEILING OR PURCHASE ONE ONLINE...

Go to:-

http://www.bestop.com

go to the left hand side of the page and scroll down to "how to install".Or go to the right and click on the questions(ask question).
Anyway your browser may be slightly different but you should be able to figure it out!.P.s. When you find the right place it will ask you for the year and make model.GOOD LUCK!!.

You can go on their website and ask for a duplicate copy of the instruction manual or video. Also try calling your dealer.
