Of course you are exactly right - sexuality should certainly not be forced, or even pressured in any way. Girls and women should be able to choose whatever sexual activities they want, and their limits should be respected.
But as for why it's a turn on, there are a couple of major factors IMHO.
First, and most obvious, is the fact that heterosexual guys like women! Two women is twice as attractive - two (or four, as the case may be...) of all the bits and pieces that we find sexually attractive and stimulating. That's without even getting into the whole "variety" aspect of sexuality that both men and women sometimes find stimulating - two different minds and bodies with different features, attitudes, and outlooks are easier to find in two people of the opposite sex than in one.
Second is the fantasy factor that many guys have (but few will admit!). The ogling guy at some level thinks that he and he alone would be the one able to sexually stimulate not just one, but two women who are aren't generally attracted to men. This also avoids the complication of male competition and its resulting insecurity that would be present if a male were in the picture. Am I as well endowed as the other guy? as goodlooking? etc. Latent homophobia also plays a part - "Oooh, I might accidentally touch something I don't want to" can put a damper on anything but a two women / one male fantasy.
In all honesty, women are much more attractive figures than men, and I can certainly understand why both men and women would be more attracted to them.

For the first part .... speaking for myself only I will say that it is very exciting because, in a way, it is a sexual arousal in a woman I can absolutely relate too. We men are sorta stupid at times and the sexual nature of a woman can confuse us greatly. However, when a woman desires a woman .. THAT we can "get".
As for the second part. All things sexual must be mutual. I am not really sure if I care for the term "reward" as that seems rather negative when it is combined with the obvious other side "witheld". Now it becomes a tool of sorts. If it is not equally rewarding for all parties concerned there may be a problem.

It's the ultimate male fantasy.... Seeing two women together...
The only thing is - not all lesbians are good looking and there are some that I just do not want to picture in any kind of action.
I am a heterosexual, however, it is more appealing to me to see two women kissing and making out then two men.... Women are more sensual, more to see... Men are just a little more on the rough side.... Now, that is just me...
I know people who seeing two men is the ultimate turn on... and two women don't do squat for them.
We all have "a thing", kinky or not, which turns us on, some are just more open and willing to explore these possibilities then others....
There is nothing wrong with either way.....

The conditioning...
Ever since you were a small child you have been being conditioned that women are the absolute sexiest thing on the planet. A great woman like Mother Theresa who has done so much for so many is dwarfed by a great set of boobs and a nice tush...
We are taught to believe that women are superior in every way. This is pressed on us by the media, the social, and educational systems. It isn't a wonder that more and more women are attracted to other women as much as they are attracted to men. And it will come that women will become more attracted to other women more than they are attracted to men. Let alone the idea that men are interested in being with two women.
It wasn't always this way. In fact in old Rome, it was the men that had sex with other men. It was commonly accepted by the society. Paul, being the only disciple that was also a Roman Citizen, spoke out against the type of homosexuality that was going on. It had come to a point that women only had sex with a man if the man wanted to have children. Otherwise, the men had causal sex with each other. The society moved more and more away from heteral sexuality to the point that it endangered the very fabric of the society.
This may also come to pass if we continue to persue the concept that women are superior in every way. Women will move more and more away from a heteral sexuality life style.
I condone same sex experiences, but I don't condone the superiority of either sex as I feel that this is where Rome went wrong.

My theory is that men are more visually stimulated than women, and watching "girl on girl" porn allows you to watch a woman "having sex" without having to look at a man interacting with her. Really, how many women like to see two guys making out? Not many!
I guess the "threesome" fantasy has to do with being the center of attention, or something.
No one should try to pressure someone into doing something they don't want to.

You know damn well why, Gail, love of my life. Men want to "conquer" not "cure." After they get their orgasm fix from two bisexual girls, they couldn't care if those chicks keep going at each other until doomsday. The male fantasy has been met. And some of the respondents are right-- no one wants to see Rosie O. get it on with her girlfriend, nice-looking though her girlfriend is. However, I don't think many guys were pulling their puds at the thought of Ellen D. and Anne H. going at it. But to be fair and balanced, I don't think anyone would want to see the Roseanne/Tom Arnold honeymoon videos either. And men who get off on seeing lesbians go at it aren't "closet cases" as the more radically inclined gay and lesbian respondents claim-- it's because they're walking testosterone sacks doing what comes natural to them whenever a hot broad enters their field of vision. Luv ya!

I think most men identify unconsciously with one of the women. And no, it isn't right to compel girls to do something they don't want to just to please a man. If a girl chooses to do it, that is different.

i have no idea, but if they ever figure out that we don't want to be cured of it, don't want to be watched by them and could really care less about them it'd be a lot better. if they want sex with two women, find bi women.
