No, I don't think this is an odd thing to ask. But most guys will be leary of it. But tell him that you would like him to go with you. That way both of you can know for sure. He will be more willing to go if you go along and get the test as well. It is not odd what-so-ever and a good thing to do before a serious relationship.

he shouldn't be but alot of guys may not go for that but i say go for it you never know what anyone has these days and since people are always upfront and honest better to know now than find out later and be sorry

you cant be embarrrased just go together but even if the tests come back negative still use condoms you just never know
