i have been hearing about g-mail but i can not figure out what it is...can anyone help me?

itz a great email system compared 2 hotmail...
it holds up to 2 GB worth of storage

Gmail is a part of Google.
If you go to the Google home page and look up and left you will find a 'mail' link, click that and you go to Gmail.

gmail is email from Google. You have to receive an invite from someone who already has an account, and once you do, you will have a new gmail email account. It has major storage, and a chat, and plenty of other great options.

gmail is like yahoo mail, except for google. just type in "mail" in google search. You can apply for it or get invited, but there is no instant access way of getting it unlike other email companies.

It is google mail. But in order to use it, someone who has g-mail must invite you to. So, there will be no bulk mail when it is used.

gmail is an email acct offering google's company, jus like yahoo mail.. it can be accessed thru www.mail.google.com or jus gmail.com it offers 2.75 gb storage which makes it not totally free.. u need a friend with gmail id to invite u to gmail.. if have any friend having one, jus ask them.. but one thing gmail is really great..
