I could really use a top notch receiver, and I got P. Manning and P. Rivers, so I'm not really worried about my QB situation. Also, losing Taylor would leave me an opening to sign Lendale White. Do you think this a good strategy?

Manning and Rivers are solid QB this season, so I see no harm in trading Green and Taylor for Moss. Here's my reason why:

1) Green just lost Willie Roaf and the passing game is going to suffer as a result of that. His best reciever, Tony Gonzalez, is ask to block more this season and I doubt that Eddie Kenninson is going to repeat his breakout performance, considering his age of being 30+. W/o Roaf, the running game would be used more w/ Larry Johnson around and Green is going to get abused with a questionable offensive line that still has Will Shields around.

2) Fred Taylor is still the undisputed RB in Jacksonville but the injury bug has caught him and question surrounding his health makes us wonder if he can make it through a full season w/o getting hurt. I wouldn't be surprise if Greg Jones takes over in the middle of the season, so trade him now before it's too late.

3) The injury to Clinton Portis doesn't worry me a lot, because a dislocated sholder just takes a couple of weeks to heal without the necessity of surgery, unless it's fracture a lot of the shoulder. Until Portis returns, Moss should be the number 1 guy in the offense, despite the addition of Brandon Lloyd and Antwann Randal-El, so I see good numbers out of him (as long as Brunell can recapture last season magic).

4) I wouldn't advise to pick up LenDale White just yet. He's already getting a bad reputation from teammates in camp and was involve in a scuffle with a teammate, who accused him of spitting after a play. Of course, disiplinary action would be taken by the Titans organization and that's not a good way to start an NFL career. Along with the fact that the Titans refused to trade RB Chris Brown makes White a risky pick this year. I would have some other advice and pick up another RB on waiver like Frank Gore, Cedric Benson, or Mike Bell if they are avalible.

You are solid at QB, so Green is expendable. Taylor is definitely on the backside of his career, but he still should have more fantasy value than Lendale White this year, since White is currently behind both Chris Brown and Travis Henry. Santana Moss was spectacular last year, but his numbers should come down a bit since the Redskins added two quality receivers in Brandon Lloyd and Antwan Randel-El. Moss should be a very solid #2 receiver, and he is the best player in this deal. I personally try to get the best single player in a trade - I would always trade 2 good guys for 1 great guy. So, if your RB situation will allow you to deal Taylor, who should really be a #3 RB, then I think you should make the deal.

No, by giving up Trent Green you're overpaying. Trade Fred Taylor for Moss.

Nope. Ocho Cinco is having a poor twelve months and is clearly style 2 in the back of Housh in CIncy. and Fred Taylor is a touch streaky and your RBs are rather good, you've were given a taking off 3 in Jackson, Johnson and Stewart, with a bye week rotator in ward, or moore (at the moment)

dont sign lendale white, he's out of shape and won't start. as for the trade, you give up a backup qb and a washed rb for a decent wr, looks good.

That's a good trade. You can pretty much look at it just as trade of Green for Moss and you wouldn't use Green much anyway given Manning's durability.

Who are your other RB's?

Lendale's not going to start a game.

The whole spitting thing is one reason.

Another reason, he's got 2 RB's in front of him on the depth chart.

Other than that.

Go for it.

Think you could do better then Moss, I am not sold that he will repeat his stats from last year. He started to fade down the stretch last year.
