Ok, Im sure those of you have heard this problem all too much but I cant find an answer that suits me or works for me... Suggestions welcome!
Firstly, my old pc connected fine to my 360, straight away! Instant connection, worked like a charm. But then I bought a new computer. Connected it... and the 360 cant connect, has IP problems and such like. Then! to make it worse, sometimes it completely KILLS my internet on this pc and it wont work... Please, any help? And If you could not just give solutions but how to carry out those solutions it would be a real plus :)

Ok, I managed to connect it to hte pc but not to the internet due to IP problems, how do I resolve these? does it need to be given an IP adress? how would I do this?

Try using an ethernet switch and a router. Though pricey, this method will eliminate your problem.
