My beloved boyfriend has a thick fast growing beard. He can get a smooth shave but it only lasts a short time. I on the other hand have very sensitive skin. If we kiss for extended periods of time his beard will rub my face red and scratch through the surface. How do I help him and or protect my face. Not kissing him isn't an option because we are about to get engaged.

I find that if I let my beard grow for a week, it becomes less scratchy as the hair gets longer. This is only good of course if netiher of you minds your boyfriend having a beard.

He can also try switching razors, some shave better than others and one might ive a closer shave that lasts longer.

Other than that, the only solution would be somthing like elctrolysis which slowly kills hair follicles and makes hair grow slower and finer.

Try having him shave a lot or you can wear a lotion or something to try to protect your skin...I've never thought of that happening but maybe this can help.
