Did you see him die?Did you see his dead body? You say you have attended his funeral. Six years is a long time. As per law 7 years is considered the limit of waiting time for a missing person(dead body not found) after which the property left behind will pass to legal heirs. If he were alive he would come back or would have tried to establish contact. In all probability you do not want to accept you lost him. It is better to accept the reality and give up such thoughts.

I think its natural to hope that a deceased family member is actually alive. However it's usually based more in hope that they're alive than fact.
I don't think your crazy but rather you're just having a hard time dealing with his passing. Perhaps you should look into grief counselling.
I just lost a family member and I know that he is dead but he's so alive in my memory that I sometimes forget for a second that he's dead

I am sure alot of us have wished that loved ones are still alive and hiding out somewhere. What makes you think your brother is still alive? Did something happen to cause you to wonder if it was staged?

People think Elvis's death was staged too. Was he sweating in his casket or change positions. Did you see someone who looked like him? Oh, well I guess if you are crazy it is in a good way.

You watch too much TV.
I'm sorry you lost your brother, but unless your brother was a secret agent or in the witness protection program, it's most likely that he really did die.

Maybe he is with all of thoes celebrities who fake their deaths, he's probably hitting on aaliyah right now. Seriously though if you have these feelings and you have some proof look for him. Maybe you are just still grieving and can't come to terms with his death. could you have his remains exumed?

if you can find out if a name was changed...usually some people leave behind a paper trail. and if you think it was staged....you could ask some radom questions to the people that were at the funeral as well
