Not enough apparently, as Hezbullah is still in Lebanon, and the 2 kidnapped soldiers are yet to be returned. I doubt they are alive, but it is the duty of humans to have loved ones return to their families.
AIPAC is the Jewish lobby group in DC, but it is made up of so many liberal-minded people that they have endangered the survivability of Israel, and has brought Israel a lot of danger. Unfortunately, Jewish people are, for the most party, liberal minded people, and this has greatly influenced Israel for the worst.

World wide? Don't know for sure. But they are one of the biggest national lobbies (right up there with big tobacco and oil), so they have a lot of control nationally. Since we are the major superpower, that does count for something internationally.
