Its not just full backs, its all players.
Its quite simply because most people are right-handed. Therefore, you naturally kick with your right foot.

Common sense really

If you're left-footed, you play on the left, as there are far more right-footed players than left footed. I mayelf am right-footed, but as am nearly equally comfortable with both feet, I've been playing on the left all my life. Every team I've played for has had 0-3 left footed players in the squad.

Simple mathematics really, like everyone has said.

Because there is a lack of left-footed players out there and a high demand of left backs, resulting in this question.

Most of the players are not flatfooted, meaning that most players use both their left and right legs. They are trained to build power and accuracy in both legs. Roght-footed playes learn to use the left foot and leet-footed players train to use their right. Because in football, especially in the defense, it is not good to be flatfooted. It is a huge disadvantage. It's good to have both feet available. Which one they prefer to use is entirely up to them. Look at

Look at the young Italian rising star defender Christain Zaccardo. Because of his flatfootedness, he had no left foot to clear the ball against the United States, and ended up scoring on himself! Any player trained to use the left leg would have easily cleared that ball out of the danger area!

Zambrotta. He plays RB and LB. He still prefers his left foot at the Right Back position! But if he needed it, his right foot is just as powerful as his left! Zambrotta would have cleared that ball against the Americans!

there tend to be far more right footers in the game, and very few left footers. As a result team have to put right footers at left back, due to the shortage of left footers.
