There is a HUGE market for old Barbie dolls. The doll may not be from 1966 though. A lot of the Molds were made then and have not changed in years. The clothing style will tell you when the doll came out.
Check e-Bay and do some google searches with images to try and find similar items.

I do believe they are worth money. I think if you type in collective barbie dolls it should take you to where you need to go or you can go to www.askjeeves.com and ask the question you just asked, it should give you lots of web sites. I got a big doll called Tiffany TAylor when I was 4 years old and it is now worth over $1,000.00. Good luck

If you have a 1966 it's worth major bucks.

Yes they are .. if you was to check out eBay you will find out there worth allot.. there are a few books out you can look at that will let you know what the stander rate if for now but with every year you have them they become worth more.. hang on to them as long as you can . maybe even pass them on to you're kids or grand kids as you get older too

all the infant Dolls I Had broken becuase eveytime you wouldhold thier abdomen they might cry. I had alot of barbies. the single I enjoyed the main grow to be the pregnant one the growth boomed with ken. and had a sprint one all interior the comparable hour =D
