Luvs added the new blue extra absorbancy stuff on the inside of the diaper, it seems to irritate my son's skin on his genital area and abdomin. Wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. The old luvs never bothered him.

I called the company, to complain, then my damn phone died, but I have two boxes of 108 diapers, hopefully I will be refunded.

No I use pampers but my daughter has been complaining too. I use the pampers cruisers size 5. She seems irritated and she doesn't have a rash but she is really uncomfortable. Strange. I recently switched from the regular pampers to the cruisers. Maybe the companies are using something new in the new kinds of diapers. You know that they are always trying to add new things to improve a product instead of leaving well enough alone. Good Luck, I think that I'm going back to the ones tha I was using before.

I've said this a number of times on Yahoo! Answers, you should be using cloth diapers on your baby. You wouldn't have all these issues that you have with disposable diapers.
With disposables the baby's bottom is put into a hot, sticky paper and plastic diaper filled with who knows what kind of chemicles.
They go to the landfill and just continue to pile up and not go away for a very long time.
Cloth diapers are cheaper than disposable, even when you take into consideration the laundry costs. Speaking of laundry, it's no big deal, another one or two loads a week that really isn't any big deal.
Think about it, and I hope your baby gets better.

I used to use Luvs when she was first born, but switched to Huggies after awhile. So I don't have the same problem, but I do hate when they take perfectly good products and change them and they would have been better off left alone!

no i think they are great. Never had a problem with them. They are cheap too. Try putting desitan on before every diaper. Maybe change him more often?

this is a case per case study but some babies have a more sensitive skin which can become allergic to the material. change to pampers its a better over all diaper.

I never liked Luvs. I think they don't work well. I like Parents Choice, White Cloud, and Huggies.

Yes. And byt he way, i didn't appreciate you reporting me for saying I reached the 800 mark in points. That was a little insecure, and I have challenged your report.
