It would be best for you to go to the doctor.
My mother almost died from poison ivy.
I'm not trying to scare you, but this can become serious. You can try benadryl, calamine lotion or other remedies.
Sometimes, the urushiol oil in poison ivy can enter the bloodstream and set off a systemic reaction in which new eruptions of the rash occur every three to eight hours. A systemic reaction can last up to five weeks while your body eliminates the poison ivy toxins through the skin! Systemic reactions are not common, but they typically are severe.

Use topical lotion like calamine lotion, but take an antihistamine like Benedryl. If your poison ivy doesn't start to show signs of going away within a week, go to the doctor.
He should prescribe a corticosteroid like Prednisone and maybe even give you an injection of the same thing if it's still bad enough. If he does prescribe that, make sure you take it EXACTLY as prescribed. It's best not to fool around with that stuff at all.

I know this is going to sound weird but a nurse told me this and it works every time. First wash in octogan soap. Then pour bleach on all the sores. I woke up the next day with it gone. I wasn't going to do it but I was itching so bad I would have bitten my leg off. I feel for you. Wash everything that you touched even your sheets in octogan soap you can keep getting it over and over again if you don't.

Wash all your clothes and sheets if they touched it. Shower all the sap and ooze off. Use Calamine on the sores and take a Benedryl. The itch is an allergic reaction.
