Hilarious! I love Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I own the special edition DVD. He pays attention to every detail, and is so consistent in keeping his ridiculous humor. Even the credits in that movie are hilarious. Every time I watch it I just roll on the floor laughing my butt off. "I am French-type, why do you think I have this outraaaaaageous accent!" Hehe... I'm giggling to myself just thinking about it, people at surrounding desks are looking at me funny!

So here is my take on Monty Python. I LOVED the Holy Grail because I am such a loser and a Renassiance geek. But I really have no interest in anything else by him. I don't find British humor funny and It's so hard to understand them because of the really horrific voicetrack on it. It's so low and muffled. I'm sure I would find it funnier if most of the things were made better, but that's what made them funny....the lack of quality...I dunno. I loved the Holy Grail, but hate everything else. It really just depends on your taste.

It depends on what kind of comedy you like. I love Monty Python! Life of Brian is hilarious.

Even after all these years, Monty Python and the Holy Grail still puts me on the floor.

If you understand and appreciate British humor, the shows are a laugh riot. If not, it takes time to cultivate the love. At first I didn't get most of the sketches, but I thought Terry Gilliam's animations were the bomb. Then I got older and appreciated just how damn funny Monty was and still is

Yes they are. They pioneered the stream of consciousness humor that seemed almost random. They are British and some of their jokes are terribly British. Watch a bunch. You'll enjoy it more that way. Maybe start with the movies because they are at least tangential.

That really depends for your taste of humor its hard to say. I think their very funny but in a stupid kind of way. I would go with the Holy Grail first it is by far the best

If you like really out there random funny, then yes. However if you don't like random stupidity, then no. I've never seen the TV show, however I love the Holy Grail movie. It is hilarious.

Yes it's very funny if you understan British humor.
I like it very much and I laugh all the time, but my mom just don't get it and think it's stupid and not funny at all.

No. I dont think its funny. But I think a lot of older people find it funny because they can identify with the stuff in the sketches.
