Yes, there is a difference. I am 36. Sexy is the physical look that the person carries. Sexual is how they use it.

Yes, there is a distinct difference. Sexy is in the moment and can be here today gone tomorrow, the person perceived as sexy may loose that title but not there sexual tendency!

Can a person be sexual, hmm!
I guess I was thinking of the word sensual, where a person male or female can walk into the room, and they exude a certain charm, usually body charm, it could be the way they walk, the way they throw their hair back, their smile, it is that certain something.
So yes, I would say a person could be sexy without being sexual.

Absolutely there is a difference...sexy is an attitude...a way a person carries themselves, the smolder in their eyes...
...but that doesn't mean they are all that sexual at all...they may well be, but it wouldn't be something you could be sure of...
conversely, there are some VERY sexual people, who aren't sexy...they just dig sex (in whatever form)...but aren't "sexy" people (as described above)...

being sexy is very different to being sexual, being sexy is mysterious and beautiful. it leaves a person guessing which is very appealing. where as being sexual, is showing someone what you want and how you want it its on a much more personal level, I'd say more physical. being sexy is mindful and mind blowing.

Sexy means exuding vibes and mannerisms that entice the other party to sexual involvement;whereas sexual just means the person has the capacity and ability to have sex.

Sexy in on the outside. I don't think I'm a person who exudes SEX when I walk into a room, but I am VERY sexual and open sexually.
Sexual to me is more intamite and isn't on display.

Well, I think sexy means attractive to the eye, therefore good looking or at least with some appeal to the opposite sex.
Sexual is already related with the act itself, I think, so passed the "looks" part and went into action!

Whether I think there is a difference or not (which I do) the dictionary sure seems to think there is.
Someone sexy is highly attractive, arousing, etc.
Someone sexual is involved in sexual activities, be it foreplay or sex.
