i have to goto the beach the next week...?

and i HAVE to wear a bikini.i've never waxed or shaved or gotten any hair plucked off my body(except my tiny facial hair).what's the first thing that i shud do?btw,i have an hour-glass figure.
no nasty comments plz...

I have a girlfriend who is a larger gal, she wears a two piece bathing suit all the time, she just selects a tankini instead of a bikini. A tankini gives you more coverage than a bikini and she looks great.

So go and buy yourself a tankini. Also find a tankini with the boy-cut bottoms, they are like short shorts, so you won't have to worry about having to remove the hair from your bikini line.

Next purchase a nice long wrap that matches your tankini that you can tie around your waist/hips. This will help cover your legs.

If you wish not to remove any hair at all, then purchase a matching shrug, something that will cover your underarm but that goes with the whole outfit but keeps you cool at the same time.

If on the other hand you want to experience hair removal from your body then I would suggest that you shave your underarm and legs, just remember when shaving that you shave in the opposite direction the hair grows for a smoother shave. You could try waxing, it's really not that painful. Also check out some of the hair removal produts at your local drug store, some products you just put on, wait alittle bit and then wash off.

Remember that in other cultures it's acceptable to be on the beach and not have any part of your body shaved. Shaving is a north american thing. In the end do what you're comfortable with.

Try on your bikini and mark where the sides are. Shave anything past that line. It's a good idea to also trim the rest of your hair down so it doesn't stick out against the suit, or poke through the material. I wouldn't recommend waxing or plucking, too painful. Maybe try Veet or Nair or something like it. It will remove the hair without any pain, and no chance of nicks and cuts.
If you include your legs in the "never" comment, I suggest you take care of them too. And definitely get the Veet or Nair remover, not shaving. You're almost guaranteed to cut yourself the first time you shave.
Go to a salon with the suit if you are unsure.

Bikini wax done at a salon. Do this a few days ahead to get rid of any redness. My sister prefers to use over the counter hair removal creams. They work well too.

Nair works pretty good, ecspecially if you haven't waxed before. You really don't want to try waxing on your own it can leave bruises and be very painful if not done correctly.
