the problem with being a kleptomaniac is that you just take stuff randomly but imagine if you were one and there was a pill that you could take for it and you just ended up taking it by random stealing that would be pretty wierd.

I guess maybe rephrasing your question might have helped you a bit here!

I assume you're asking about meds - but unless you're diagnosed with OCD or something else, I doubt that there's a medicine that's formulated specifically for Kleptomania. Your best bet, since you seem aware of the fact that you have a problem, is to consult a therapist or psychologist (or psychiatrist) who specializes in the treatment that would be necessary to help you overcome your affinity (dare I say "addiction") for other peoples' stuff.

visit a prison or local jail and see how the people in there live after they are sentenced for doing the same thing you have a problem with

Yes, a good dose of self-discipline. It wouldn't hurt to make yourself accountable to whoever you go shopping with, either.

well....I don't really think there's any medication that will help but , if you were to go over to Iran or some such place, they have a solution that works for everyone, every time, guaranteed!!!

Make bracelets with little bells on them and wear them. That way if you reach for something it will ring and everyone will see you.
