i think an appropriate punishment for a terorist would be to live the life they oppose......would that not be the ultimate punishment for these so full of hate?
for example, an IRA terrorist being made to live the rest of his life as a British royalist conservative!

A terrorist should have to go through our legal system. That is punishment enough. Well then if found guilty he should have to endure the horrors of spending the day at the DMV. I shutter just thinking of such horrible thoughts.

In Muslim countries a favourite pastime and form of entertainment is to hang people from the jib of a crane. Usually done with much cheering and applause. This punishment is normal for such crimes as double parking, fiddling the gas meter and other such audacious crimes.
Maybe then that is what should happen to them.

It depends - I suggest we treat him as they would treat us. But if we execute him - he wins. He gets his 72 virgins and lives in paradise for eternity. Put him in a hole with an iron grate on top - too small to stand up, lie down, sit or be comfortable in any way. Give him a bucket for his personal needs and lift it out once a week. Throw bread (stale, maggotty) and water (scummy) at him every other day. Hose him off when the guard can't stand the smell any more.
Have a way that he, and all his little buddies, can be displayed, naked, to anyone who cares to take the tour. Do everything you can to embarass him. But don't kill him - that's what he wants.

Most answers on here seem to be about muslims but there are more religions than islam who have terrorists,I feel that if it's a religious thing then they should be tied up in their place of worship and then it should be blown up,that way another school of hatred would be destroyed

first explain to him how foolish he has been in beleiving that you go to heaven for doing such acts which can't be true. because if it were true let the sheiks do it themselves. additionally explain him that if Allah forbid such extremists would win and they would rule what would the world lokk like & who would they kill then. then keep him locked up or kill him -not fussy as long as such gullible & weak characters are wiped off the face of humanity as long as they can be a danger to it.
