Almost certainly both - she's not exactly reknown for balance and objective research and while that can be amusing, it's also annoying.
And let's face it, she's preaching to her fellow nutjobs, it'll probably sell a million.

And how many of you who will answer in here will ever take the time or trouble to actually READ the book and see if it contains even one kernel of information that makes you think or that you might agree with?
I'll admit, I probably won't ever read it myself, as I find her uninteresting and her writing style difficult to stay focused on; but I don't call her or her work names until I know what it says myself.
As to the New Republic, I suspect that if she came out in favor of something they wrote about, the author of the original piece would be fired and all of his past contributions tarred-and-feathered... they aren't exactly what I would consider an "objective reviewer" of people like Ann Coulter.

OK, Frankie59, you have to be real blind. First of all the NYT bestsellers list is not based on actual "best" sales. That list is compiled by pre-sales to book dealers (I used to work in the publishing business) and is merely used to "hype" potential sales. Plus, if you did any research whatsoever you can open almost any page in any of her books and find a subject that she has not told truthfully. The fact that you even read such dribble shows what a moron you are. Which is the only good thing about the sales of her books...it allows us to keep count of how many morons are out there.

It is a laugh riot. Ann takes on abortion, the religion of liberalism, fighting crime, the fanatic teacher's union, and evolution. She uses truth and humor to dismantle each topic. The book is hysterically great. I bought her book Treason yesterday and it is also very good so far.

Ann Coulter is a brilliant author and I have a standing order to purchase her books whenever they are released. Think her latest book rehashing old criminal court decisions like Miranda is a little dated though. She holds libs and gays accountable for their conduct and doesn't allow them to excuse it because of sexual orientation or mental illness. She always makes NYTimes bestseller list, and rightfully so. You libs always crying bout how poor you are, just make sure her books get into the library, you might learn something new, bout who made you poor, and what you have to do about it.

She must not have sold any books. She keeps wearing that same black dress that she wore on the cover of the book. She wears it over and over again. Then again, maybe she just wants to look like a hooker.

Would be laugh riot if so many weren't willing to swallow her nonsense. Even she probably doesn't believe half of what she writes.
