I would like to try imprinting words or images onto my homemade soaps... but I have no idea how to actualize that idea. Any help would be extremely welcome.

If you want the text to be opaque, I'd reccommend printing the words and images onto cellophane, then laying them on top of a thin layer of soap before you completely fill the mold. To imprint something onto the soap, cut the words or image out of something thick, like foam or wood, and place it at the bottom of the soap mold. Hope this helps.

The easiest way to imprint your soaps would be to get a stamp made with whatever message you want on it. I would not suggest rubber, unless it is very hard. See if you can get it made in wood or metal. Most communities have stamp-making businesses. Just keep in mind, the simpler, the better. Then, just oil the stamp, dust it with cornstarch, and press it into the soap while it is still soft. Let it set, then pull the stamp out.

Sure after the soap is removed from the mold, you could stamp a message in the soap. You could carve a message in the soap. There probably are many ways to leave a message on your soap. I have seen soap with a paper design imbebed on top of soap. k

Wait until the soap is partly solidified then press a stamp into it (you can find rubber stamps with letter or images at a craft store).

Make it part of the mold you use to shape the soap, or carve it in after the soap is completed.
