Go to the source - the fishermen. If you are near the ocean, go visit the local fishing boats. They may have an arrangement for you.

Check the internet, use a varitey of search criteria. Type of fish, etc.

If you are going to specialize in only one or two different kinds of fish, you could go to fish club auctions. They always have a lot of cheap tanks. Used, of course. You will need a large room or separate building to house the operation.

A large aquarium manufacturer is called "AllGlass." If you google their name, I am sure you will find contact info.

Any kind of fish store is going to cost an arm and a leg to get started... filters, heaters, carbon, filter media, fish, shipping supplies, food, medications, huge air pump, plumbing.

Also, when you buy your fish, you will have to pay shipping to your area from the breeders or wholesalers. It is around $35-40 for one box that will hold about fifty fish.

You will need to sell them for at least 3 times what you paid for them to actually make a profit. Many die in your tanks after you receive them and many come in with parasites or diseases they have contracted from the ponds they are raised in. A big operation is very labor intensive and there is a lot of death.

You will need a vendor's license and have to file quarterly income tax forms with the IRS.

Good luck! ;o) Do lots of research BEFORE you jump in.

Find out the makers of the tanks, get their information, go to their websites and see if they sell direct, if they do, open up an account with them.

get someone with experience to build you tanks. They should be much cheaper and as long as the person knows what he is doing they shouldn't leak.
