I am a language student about to spend my year abroad in Cuba. I need to be able to access money and want to know the best way for my parents to send me money from England. Are there any recommended methods???? I have a Barclays bank account in the UK, however I am aware that using cashpoints etc can be very very expensive. Are there any better methods? I will be there for 10 months.

Actually the cheapest way is to use a credit card and then have the direct debit set up on your Barclays account. Your mum and dad then just pay in the money for you each month.
