My monitor turns blank (blacks out) every once in a while, and it's becoming bothersome, because its increasing in frequency. Does it have to do with this site I visited that made my monitor flash to the beat of the background music? How do I fix it? I've already ran a full system virus scan, ad-ware scan, and spyware scan to no avail.

I also very personal a Dell computing device. Your disaster sounds like one the problem the computing device might want to have were given to be taken aside. Or the little button that senses even as the computing device is being closed is stuck. ?? I actually don't have any theory. My cooling fan burned out, and the man made fan is $20, yet Dell cautioned me i mandatory to provide it in for $100 and fifty, truthfully for them to seem at it! Ridiculous! in case you already understand each and each body with really some income, i'd enable them to seem at it back. in any diverse case, Dell might want to might want to....that's what they prefer.

I noticed that mine occurs when an electric "draw" occurs, such as the A/C kicking on. It does happen at other times, but only this Summer. Earlier in the year, it never happened, so I wonder if it's a general "draw" by the entire electrical system.

My LCD monitor was flickering, when I first sent my laptop output to it. But it calmed down after a while - guesing it was just because it hadn't been used for a while.

Try changing the refresh rate in "display" in control panel. Otherwise, it may be overheating. Keep it well-vented.
