how to install msd ignition box

I take it that you don't have any instructions. Well a few years back I installed a MSD 6-AL ignition on my car. I drilled a couple holes through my wheel-well underneath the hood and mounted it on that. As far as the wiring the red wire (positive) you should connect to your alternator, the black wire (negative) you should find a sufficiant ground somewhere. There should be two more wires but I forget which color went to what but one goes to your distributor (assuming that you have an HEI or the one that came with the ignition kit, and the other one is for your tachometer. All else fails and you're still not sure you might even try to call the MSD company and see if they will send you some instructions. And one more thing if yours is like mine you will need to put in a rev. limiter chip.

Scroll down to page 16 and you will find instructions for how to install it on a GM HEI ignition like what you have.
